Your Questions, Answered.

What’s the process?

Every project begins with a conversation. We work with you to craft a custom project proposal whether it’s a single interview, multiple interviews or complex family archive. Once we begin production, we start crafting your story, then deliver it in digital audio, a custom USB drive and hand-bound, cloth-woven hardback book.

Pricing involves combination of factors: The number of interviews, scripting and voiceover, music and the post-production time are the primary factors. Genrerally, we do projects from $2,000 and up.

How do you determine pricing?

All recordings are considered private and confidential. These life stories are for you, and who you choose to share them with. Every project has a standard opt-in clause, allowing you to determine whether you want to allow CSA to use parts of your story for marketing purposes.

Is my interview confidential?

Is video an option?

Yes! Audio is the primary part of our business, but we also worked in television and filn for 20 years. We know what video can be for family documentaries and storytelling. It also changes most parts of the production process, but we’re happy to talk about making a documentary or single interview for your family.

We cover events the same way we would have during our journalism careers: As observers, collecting the voices and story of the moment. Whether it’s a wedding, a retirement, or an anniversary, we’ll gather the elements necessary to document your story in the sound and voices it deserves.
